Children are told again and again just how dangerous it can be to meet people on social media, but they don’t always listen.
A local juvenile contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report a terrifying ordeal that happened after going to the home of a guy she met on Facebook.
The girl said she was kicked out of her house, so she decided to stay at the home of a Scioto County male she met on Facebook. She says he sexually assaulted her, but she managed to sneak out of his window and call for help.
Deputies contacted the girl’s CPS caseworker from her home county and began an investigation into the assault.
