Officers headed to SOMC after a mom said a strange man approached a child at a vending machine and said some inappropriate things.
When officers spoke with the mom, she said the child was getting a soda when a man approached her, requested she buy him a drink, and reached out his hand toward her in a way that made her feel uncomfortable.
When officers spoke to the man, who was a patient at the hospital, he claimed he was only joking and didn’t mean any harm. Officers advised him about the mother’s concern.
