Officers were called to an area children’s home after a child reported they had been sexually assaulted in a bathroom.
Staff told Lawrence County Deputies that a boy told them he was using the restroom when another boy came in, pulled him out of the stall, and sexually assaulted him.

Another child walked in, witnessed the incident, and called for staff. Officers took information for further investigation.
