Christa Dawn Lewallen, 47, passed away on April 12, 2025. She was born on November 22, 1978, to Richard Ramey and Shelia Reed.
Christa worked for many years as a dedicated factory worker. Outside of work, she was known for her creativity, kindness, and her big heart for others and for animals. She was a talented artist who loved to tattoo and took great pride in doing piercings, nails, and hair. Christa was also an avid collector of clothing and shoes and expressed herself through her unique sense of style.
She enjoyed taking walks, spending time in her garden, and caring for her plants. Christa loved to crochet and to cook for her family and friends, always putting thought and care into every meal she prepared. Those who knew her will remember her as considerate, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ramey; her significant other, Jacob Keirns; and her stepfather, William Reed.
Christa is survived by her son, Jonathan Reed of Stout, and her daughter, Laura (Bryan) Reed of Minford; her mother, Sheila Reed of Stout; her brother, Richard Anthony Ramey of Stout; her stepbrother, Robert Ramey of Franklin Furnace; and her stepsister, Shannon Ramey of Columbus. She is also survived by extended family and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Christa’s family and friends will hold her memory close in their hearts, remembering her gentle spirit, her creativity, and the love she shared so freely.
