Christopher Ryan Bond, aged 43, passed away at his home on May 22, 2025. Born on January 28, 1982, he was the beloved son of Bryan Bond and Robin Rayburn. A resident of Lucasville, OH, Christopher was a proud graduate of Portsmouth West High School and the University of South Florida.
Christopher was an avid Ohio State Football fan and enjoyed fishing, had such pride in attending his children’s games and track meets, and truly cherished his nap time. He had a passion for roller coasters and was a member of the Ace Roller Coaster Club. Christopher also loved spending time on the farm.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Monique, his son Landon, and daughter Layken. Besides his parents, he is survived by Grandparents, Harold and Helen Rayburn; Stepfather, Terry Coker; Sister Meagan (Michael) Rhea of Sciotoville, OH; Stepsister Anne (Rob) Derleth of Bloomfield, IN; Stepbrothers Daniel (Margaret) Ouellette of Friendship, OH and Neil (April) Coker of Newberry, IN, along with several Nieces and Nephews
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 5:00-7:00PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME/ Wolfe- Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 12NOON, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rockwell Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Hunt officiating.
