Congressman Thomas Massie Visited Arrick’s Propane in South Portsmouth, Kentucky
Arrick’s Propane was pleased to welcome United States Congressman Thomas Massie (KY-4) to its South Portsmouth Kentucky facility.
Congressman Massie was given a tour of the company’s facility by company owner Ralph Arrick who also showed him several of the company’s propane-powered vehicles.
Besides the significant cost advantages that propane autogas offers, they also spoke about how propane autogas reduces toxic emissions by 30% or more and is an EPA-approved, green energy source.
Additionally, the discussion touched upon the importance of propane as well as how the push for electrification ignores that propane is a domestic resource that burns cleanly.
“There’s a major transition underway. Propane is poised to play a major role in that shift,” said Rob Cossairt, Executive Director of USCS. “We are here to help the public see that propane autogas has great benefits. The American Gas Association and the propane industry are working together to bring the benefits of propane autogas to the American public.”
