Convicted Murderer Not Getting Out on Parole

Carl Coulter

Convicted murderer Carl Coulter won’t be getting out on parole just yet.

Coulter, who was sentenced to 15 years to life in 1992 after being convicted of murder with a firearm specification, had been listed as recently possibly eligible for parole.

However, according to the ORDC, the 64-year-old man, who has spent about half his life in prison was not granted release.

Instead, the parole board continued his hearing and his next chance for release will be in December of 2026.  Coulter is currently incarcerated at the Pickaway Correctional Institution.
