Just after 10 p.m., witnesses reported individuals attempting to break into a vacant house on 10th Street that had previously burned.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took Michael Brannan into custody on a warrant for failure to report.
This was Brannan’s 9th visit to the Scioto County Jail. He was convicted last summer of criminal trespass and sentenced to suspended jail time, a fine, and court costs.
Previous arrests include probation violation, domestic threats, DUI, failure to pay child support, drug possession, violation of a protection order, and possessing chemicals used to manufacture drugs.
