Cops Called After Mom Won’t Let CPS See Injured Child

child abuse

Scioto County Children Services has stepped up its efforts to remove abused and neglected children from potentially dangerous situations and they frequently call in local law enforcement to assist.

Right before 5 p.m., CPS workers attempted to check on a child who was reported to have a broken arm, but the mother refused to let them see the children.

They called the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office for assistance, and two deputies headed the scene. CPS decided it would be best to remove the children from the home and officers stood by while the agency took the kids into their care.
