A disagreement over a video game brought police to a home after a woman said a teen was throwing things around the house and had threatened her with a pot she’d just used to cook noodles.
When officers arrived at the home, she said the teen got angry over a game of Fortnight and grabbed a pan she was using off the stove and lifted it up as if he were going to hit her. He then put the pan down and threw his video game controller across the room, nearly hitting his sister.
Officers spoke to the boy, who admitted throwing the controller but said he never threatened anyone, and he didn’t even get to have any noodles.
Officers arrested the boy and took him to the Lawrence County Juvenile Detention Center.
