A woman unhappy with face mask rules at a local vet’s office contacted the police just after 11 am. She claimed an employee at the office tried to attack her.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered it stemmed from the animal clinic’s requirement that visitors wear face masks on the premises.
The woman was unhappy with the rules and wanted to file a complaint. Police explained that private businesses have the right to require masks if they choose to.
Woman Spotted Stumbling Down 8th Street
Just before 10 am, a witness advised police a blonde woman had passed out on 8th Street but eventually got back up and started stumbling away.
Officers caught up with the woman at 8th and Broadway and discovered she had an open warrant through the New Boson Police Department.
PPD arrested the woman for disorderly conduct, and NBPD came to the jail to issue a summons on the other charge.
