Coroner Investigates After Body Discovered
The Scioto County Coroner is investigating after a tragedy in Sciotoville. A woman contacted police just after 2:30 pm to report someone contacted her to say they’d found her son dead.
Dispatch contacted Portsmouth Ambulance, but they didn’t have any units available. The woman who discovered the deceased also contacted dispatch to report the incident. She was advised not to move anything in the home and to wait outside.
Deputies and the coroner responded to the scene, and the coroner arranged for the body to be taken to Montgomery County for investigation by a medical examiner.
