Deputies and the Scioto County Coroner are investigating after the deaths of a man in Wheelersburg and another on the West Side.
Just after noon, a caller said his neighbor just ran over and said they believed their roommate was dead in their driveway.
When deputies responded to the scene, they administered Narcan and called for an ambulance. When medics responded to the scene, they confirmed the man was indeed deceased. Officers began to search for the woman who reported the death. She left the scene before the officers arrived.
The Coroner came to the scene to collect the deceased, and deputies contacted Tennessee police in an attempt to get more information on the victim and to notify the next of kin.
Officers are also investigating another suspected overdose death on the West Side that happened the following afternoon. The Coroner took possession of the deceased and sent him to Montgomery County for further forensic investigation.
