Morning traffic on Gallia Street got an eyeful when a fight broke out near Speedway—and ended with two suspects cuffed between McDonald’s and Wendy’s.
At 10:30 a.m., police were called after a woman said her boyfriend had been assaulted and robbed by a man and a woman.
When officers arrived, they quickly spotted the pair of suspects crossing Gallia. The chase ended just steps away from the drive-thru lanes. EMS checked on the victims, but they refused an ambulance.
🚔 Arrested & Charged
Police arrested Cassandra Marano and Steven Bowman for assault and robbery, booking both into the Scioto County Jail.
- Marano: Already wanted for a 2023 assault case in New Boston. She’s due in court for a preliminary hearing on August 21.
- Bowman: Facing an open assault case from November 2023 and also scheduled to appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court August 21.
