CPS Called After Child is Repeatedly Not Picked Up from Schoolbus

A sad day for an elementary school student. The school contacted officers to report a troubling issue. The school bus driver brought the child back to school because there was no one at their home when it was time to drop the child off.

The school attempted to contact the guardians, but no one came to pick the child up. They reported this was an ongoing issue with the child.

Officers contacted CPS, and a worker came to take custody of the child.

Worried Sister Tries To Track Down Missing Brother

The worried sister of a homeless man asked officers to help her track down her missing brother.

She said she’d heard he might be in SOMC for some serious surgery but couldn’t find out. Officers checked the hospital, and he was not a patient there.

Police tried to get back in touch with her to help her finish filing a report, but were unable to contact her.
