Multiple CPS agencies searched for a child after receiving a disturbing video. Franklin County CPS asked local deputies to do a welfare check after they received a report of child abuse.
They said a mom was allegedly hitting a child in the face and on the body with car keys and that they had received a video showing welts and lacerations to the child’s face.

When deputies arrived at the address the agency provided, they met with the child’s 20-year-old brother, who said he hadn’t seen his mother in over a week and had no idea where she or the child was. He said that Scioto County CPS had been to the home earlier in the day but could not locate the mother either.
