CPS Takes Child after Dad Treated For Overdose

Officers and medics headed to 12th Street at 8:30 am after a report that a man was unresponsive after a suspected overdose.  

Since there was a child at the scene, police sent for CPS. Medics transported the man to SOMC for treatment, police took custody of a dog in the home, and a CPS worker took custody of a child.  

EMS and police responded to Bob Evans at 10:26 am after a caller reported a man not breathing behind the restaurant. EMS transported the man to the hospital while officers impounded residue and two knives.  

Tweaker Reported in Holcomb Alley 

A witness reported a woman acting suspiciously in Holcomb Alley just after noon. They said the woman appeared to be tweaking.  

When police arrived on the scene, they took a 27-year-old woman into custody for disorderly conduct.  

She was booked into the Scioto County Jail and released on a $150 bond.
