Crimes, Calls, and Chaos: A Busy Day for Scioto County First Responders

Scioto County's emergency responders had a packed day on Tuesday, June 3, with a flood of calls ranging from medical emergencies to suspicious vehicles, domestic incidents, and assaults. Two Civil Process Arrests were made, one at the STAR Community Justice Center and another at a US 23 rest area. Several suspicious persons and vehicles were also reported. Notably: A suspicious vehicle was investigated on Ohio River Rd and Bennett St. A suspicious person was spotted near the former Clarks BP on Center St and again on Old Scioto Trail. Other Notable Incidents A mental health call came in from Rigrish Rd, with authorities advised of the situation. A 911 hang-up was investigated on Braunlin Rd. A traffic jam or road blockage was addressed on Snook Rd. Patrols & Alarms Deputies stayed active on routine patrols across Clay Township, Rosemount Rd, and other locations, logging several drive-throughs. Alarm calls at Clairmont Ave, Mohawk Dr, and other locations were mostly false or canceled.
