We told you yesterday that thieves had hit the China City Restaurant on Scioto Trail. Now we know what they got away with.
A caller spotted a shattered glass door around 8 am, and a Portsmouth Officer headed to the scene to check it out. No one was inside, so the officer headed to the owner’s home to tell them what was happening.

The owner rushed to the restaurant and discovered thieves had taken the cash register, which had $300 inside.
Police took information for a report.
