Customer Assaults Arby’s Worker
A worker at Arby’s in Wheelersburg contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office just before 5 pm to report an attack by a customer.
The employee said a female customer initially came through the drive-thru and had been verbally aggressive while placing her order. Employees advised her to pull forward to wait for her order.
When an employee took the woman’s order to her, she claimed the woman grabbed the bag aggressively and raked her with her nails.
The employee did not want to file charges, she just wanted to make officers aware of the incident. They advised her to call them should the woman return.
Family Dollar Customer Flips Out on Employees
An angry customer of the Wheelersburg Family Dollar went off on employees.
When employees told the woman that she was no longer welcome at the store, she got into an employee’s face and said, “I’ll have your jobs!”
Employees asked that the woman be trespassed from the property.
Man Overdoses in Wendy’s Bathroom
Witnesses reported a man doing drugs and probably overdosing in the bathroom of the Wendy’s on Gallia Street at 3:30 pm.
Police and members of the Quick Response Team headed to the restaurant. The man agreed to go with a counselor for drug treatment.
Overdose at Sunoco
Just before 7 pm, officers and medics responded to a report of an overdose behind the Sunoco station at 11th and Offnere.
It took two doses of Narcan to revive the patient. A member of the Rapid Response team also headed to the scene to help.
A man and a woman at the scene agreed to leave with a drug counselor for treatment.
