It was an eventful day at the CVD Drug Store.
Just after 5 pm, PPD received a report about a shoplifter at the CVS Pharmacy on the Scioto Trail. Police were able to positively identify the suspect through surveillance video.
PPD responded with NBPD to a New Boston apartment, but the female suspect was not home.
Later that evening at 10:14 pm, officers received a report of a customer locked in the store from CVS corporate. The company was attempting to locate someone with a key.
An officer responded to the scene and met up with an employee. However, the customer was no longer in the store. The employee checked the security footage, and the trapped customer did nothing criminal. She eventually was able to unlock a door from the inside and let herself out.
