Dad Won’t Return Kids after Mom Arrested

A Thomas Avenue woman contacted officers at 2:38 pm to report the father of her children had refused to return her children to her even though she has full custody rights.

She allowed him to take the kids a few days earlier aster she was arrested and he now had them with him in Circleville. 

Officers advised her to make the Circleville Police aware of the issue but warned her that they may refuse to intervene in a custody issue and she will likely have to file a complaint through the court system.

Hey, That’s My Stuff

An employee of the Dollar General Store on Gallia contacted police to report that a man and woman stole shirts from the store and left in a dark Chevy Silverado. Police took information for a report. 

Cars Egged on Robinson Avenue

Robinson Avenue residents contacted officers at 7 pm to report that someone in a white box-shaped vehicle was driving around throwing eggs at cars.

Officers were unable to locate the eggers. The victims cleaned off their cars. 

Snapchat Scam

A Sterling Avenue resident contacted police at 7:20 pm to report being victimized by a scam on Snapchat. She said she lost $172.

Police said there was no way to track the transaction as it went through several Snapchat users and through CashApp. 

The phone number used in the scam was for Rhode Island and tied to a calling app.
