Deborah “Debbie” Sue Arnett, 73, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2025 at SOMC Hospice Center after a long battle with melanoma cancer.

Debbie was a cherished mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, her presence will be deeply missed. Debbie was born in Portsmouth Ohio on May 5th, 1952 to the late Ed Cooper and Barbara Yeager.

She was an avid crafter and made beautiful items for friends and family. Debbie was a long time employee of Deemer’s in Wheelersburg Ohio and a longtime member of Garden City Freewill Baptist Church. Debbie will always be remembered for her kind heart, creativeness, willingness to help people and her quick wit. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her sons Michael Todd Tussey and Roger “Buster” Hargis Arnett. Debbie is survived by her husband Roger Arnett and son Jason Tussey, both of Wheelersburg, brothers David Cooper (Virginia) of Iowa, Sam Cooper (Kathy) of South Carolina and Tom Cooper of Ohio, a multitude of nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law and a massive amount of friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm and funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday October 1st, 2025 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg Ohio and interment to follow at Clapboard Cemetery, located behind Pine Creek Church.
