Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a report of a violent assault on Turkey Foot Road. More disturbingly, this is the second time the assailant attacked the same victim.
The original call of a man on the ground with a head laceration came in at 1:30 p.m. However, the 9-1-1 dispatcher remembered a previous incident like this had occurred at the home and it turned out to be an assault. Dispatch sent a deputy along with the ambulance.
Sure enough, the victim said he’d seen the man who previously attacked him drive by the property earlier. The victim said he was working in his garage and then woke up covered in blood.
Officers checked area security cameras, collected evidence, and began a search for suspects.
