The feud isn’t cooling off — it’s getting more complicated.
Just days after a shooting and arrest, deputies were back at the same property… this time with a court order.
According to a report from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a judgment entry issued by Lawrence County Municipal Court authorizing a search of a residence in South Point tied to the ongoing neighbor dispute.
The order directed deputies to search the home and property for any firearms, ammunition, and surveillance cameras believed to belong to the neighboring family.
When deputies arrived, they found the home unsecured and entered to begin the search. Because no one was home and a dog was inside, the dog warden was called to assist.
Inside the residence, deputies located multiple gun cases and several types of ammunition, including:
- .38 caliber rounds
- 12-gauge double-aught buckshot
- 12-gauge slugs
No firearms were found during the search.
Deputies also located a large gun safe inside the home, but were unable to access it. After contacting the court, the safe was secured on-site.
Outside, deputies found three camouflage trail cameras, believed to be connected to the ongoing dispute between neighbors.
All items recovered were seized as evidence.
Part of a Bigger Problem
This search is the latest development in a dispute that has steadily escalated.
As previously reported:
- Neighbors accused each other of trespassing and theft
- Surveillance cameras were allegedly taken multiple times
- A protection order was issued
- A woman was injured in a gun-related incident
- Another was arrested after resisting deputies
Authorities had already confirmed that those involved were not allowed to possess firearms under that protection order.
And now…
No guns found.
But ammo, cameras, and a locked safe still in play.
And a feud that keeps pulling deputies back to the same address.
