Deputy Narcans Overdose Victim Four Times

Deputy Saves Life

An officer saved the life of an overdose victim, but it took four doses of Narcan to do the job. A Lawrence County Deputy responded to an overdose report on County Road 21 just after 4 pm and found a man unresponsive inside a home.

The deputy administered a dose of Narcan and rubbed the man’s sternum with no results. It took three more doses of the lifesaving medication before the man came to, but he was barely responsive.
