Desperate Mom Searches For Missing Daughter
A worried mom showed up at the Portsmouth Police Station on Monday afternoon to report her adult daughter missing.
She told police her daughter left her Oak Hill home on December 26th with a man and came to Portsmouth. She last spoke to her daughter on January 2nd, and she gave no indication that she wasn’t returning home.

The woman said she could not locate the man’s home, but she knew he lived in the East End. The daughter had a court appointment to regain custody of her daughter last week, but missed the court date.
She said she feared her daughter was back on drugs after a stint in rehab. Officers advised the mother to return to Oak Hill and file a missing person’s report there.
