Officers were called to a local hospital on New Year’s Eve after medical personnel said a woman wanted to file a complaint about a sexual assault.

An ambulance had transported the woman to the hospital earlier in the day. The woman told medics where the incident happened and the name of her alleged attacker.
Deputies contacted detectives, who advised the woman to call them back after the holiday.
