Disgusting: Tracy Park P***ers Target War Memorial
The ongoing battle to keep people from using Tracy Park as a litter box rages on. Just after 9 pm, a caller reported that a man was urinating on the war memorial.
The caller said he screamed at the public pee-pee-er, and the man took off running towards Gay Street.
Officers spoke with two other men on the scene, and they confirmed that someone was taking a leak on the war memorial. Police were unable to locate the leaker.
Campers Spotted in Tracy Park
At 9:40 pm, police responded to a report that someone had set up a tent in Tracy Park. Police advised them to move along.
At 10:12 pm, police responded to the 8th Street Homeless Shelter to pick up a man with an open warrant through Lawrence County. Officers transported him to the county line and handed him over to Lawrence County Deputies.
Woman ODs in Wayne Hills
Officers responded to Wayne Avenue at 9:20 pm after a report that a woman had overdosed. When officers arrived on the scene, the woman was alert and speaking with someone from a local counseling center.
Police noted there were two open packages of Narcan on the table. The woman declined counseling and was left in the care of friends.
