Portsmouth Police responded to multiple reports of suspicious activity around town.
There seem to be as many people sleeping in the Post Office Lobby as there are at the Royal Inn. Officers were called in around 2:30 am to ask some homeless campers to leave. They complied.
At 3:45 pm, employees at the DESCO Drive Thru hit a panic alarm because a woman with a long history of disorderly conduct issues was causing a disturbance. She left before officers arrived.
At 4 pm, Hudson House employees reported an elderly man walking up to cars in the area, looking into them, and trying to get inside. However, he was gone by the time officers arrived.
