We told you about a string of dog bites suffered by delivery drivers over the weekend, and yet another person just doing their job was attacked again just after 11:30 am.
The driver was in the process of making a delivery to a Wheelersburg home when he was attacked. The man said he didn’t need an ambulance, but he did provide officers with the name of the dog owner.
There was another dog bite incident on Hinkley Hollow Road. A woman claimed her landlord was causing a commotion and had assaulted her father. However, when officers arrived on the scene, they learned the woman’s dog had bitten the landlord.
The Dog Warden responded to the scene to investigate.
Officers also responded to the Super 8 on US 23 after a man said he was attacked by loose dogs while walking his dog in Rosemount.
He said two pit bulls came after him near Giovanni’s Pizza and attacked his leashed dog. The man said he’d pulled a muscle trying to separate the dogs but refused medical treatment.
A deputy patrolled the area in search of loose dogs but wasn’t able to spot them.
