Dog Killed at Hurth Apartments
A dog died after an incident involving an American Bulldog at the Hurth Apartments on Tuesday evening.
Police responded to a report of a dog attack at 6 pm, and one dog was already dead by the time they arrived. Witness told police that two dogs were passing each other in the hallway when a third dog began to bark.
That prompted the larger American Bulldog to spick up the smaller dog and shook it. The dog warden advised police that it was a civil matter that could be worked out between the owners.
The owner of the larger dog agreed to give the smaller dog’s owner money to cover the animal’s cremation.
