Dog Prompts Death Threats
Just after 7 pm, officers responded to Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road after a man said his neighbor threatened to kill him after he asked him to stop his dog from barking. The dog owner then turned his music up full blast to irritate the neighbor.
When officers arrived on the scene, they determined the dog owner was young and somewhat disrespectful. They explained to him that it was important to be respectful and that you can be arrested for making threats against people. Police said he seemed to calm down.
Just after 9:30 pm, deputies responded to Clayton Court after reports that another man had threatened to shoot his neighbor. Officers spoke to all involved.
Deputies Recover Baseball from Neighbor’s Yard
A helpful deputy came to the aid of some kids on Dogwood Ridge who’d lost a ball in the neighbor’s yard.
Just after 8 pm, their dad contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report his kids hit a ball into the neighbor’s yard. He said she cussed out the kids and kept their ball.
An officer responded to the scene and recovered the baseball and several other recreational items belonging to the children. The deputy advised the woman she could not legally hold onto those items.
