Dollar Tree Machete Murder
The Upper Sandusky Police Department was dispatched to Dollar Tree at 4:25 pm on January 01, 2023, for a man waving a weapon inside the store.
The man left the store before the police arrived. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female employee dead. Within a short period of time, an officer located and arrested a suspect.
The police determined the murder weapon to be a machete.
The crime scene is currently being processed by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Police are expected to release more information, including the names of the suspect and the victim, on Monday.
Investigations into the incident are currently being conducted by Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit.
