Donna Kay (Smith) Holcomb, 76, of South Shore, Kentucky, was called home on June 20, 2026, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on October 8, 1949, in West Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Roscoe L. and Bonnie Carr Smith.
Donna was a retired nurse’s aide who dedicated many years to her profession. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Sherman Holcomb; four sons: James L. (Nicole) Holcomb of Lucasville, Ohio; Justin L. Holcomb; Jason L. Holcomb, both of South Shore, Kentucky; and Joshua R. (Samantha) Holcomb, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Donna’s love extended to her fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters Julia Smith and Leoma Spradlin. and many other family members and friends.
A service will be held at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and again on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the service begins
