Donna Kay Maynard, 69, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 28, 1956 in Columbus to the late Autis and Pearl Maple West Maynard. Surviving are her sons, Jason Dunn of Lebanon, Kentucky, Steven (Katie) Kinnison of Portsmouth, Ohio and Joshua (Kayla) Kinnison of Waverly; grandchildren, Lexi, Kaylee, Justen, Lucas, Bryson, Sophia, Byntley, Remington and Ruger; a brother, Ken (Jodi) Maynard of Canal Winchester, Ohio; nephews and nieces, Matt (Kellie) Maynard, A.J. (Dana) Maynard, Randy (Megan) Maynard, Kevin Maynard, Raea Blackburn, Ty Murphy, Erin Peoples, Chrissy Maynard and Melissa Ann Henneberger; and aunts, Mary Sue “JoAn” (Tommy) Wallace, Bonnie (Ty) Cramer, Phyllis (Ron) Clark and Myrtle Tackett.
Donna had a passion for crocheting, collecting lighthouses and angels, and she enjoyed music and singing. She loved her children and cherished her grandchildren. Donna also loved her many nieces and nephews and cherished her relationship with her brother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service.
