Doris (Dot) Spriggs, 81, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on Feb. 19, 2021, in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Dot was born in New Castle, Virginia, on March 1, 1939, a daughter of the late William Baber and Ida Pearl Bradbury.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Spriggs, daughter, Kimberly Potter.
Surviving are three daughters, Jackie Walk of Bristol, Tenn, Leslie Lambert, and Patricia Wimmer both of Portsmouth, Ohio, two sisters, Jackie Jones of Chicago, ILL and Connie Dudding of Blacksburg, VA, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Mike Queen, officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Due to COVID restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are required.
