It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy M Clark on August 3, 2024, in West Portsmouth, at the age of 95. Dorothy was born in Louisville, KY, on March 8, 1929, to the late Woodford and Anna (Nee Davis) Clark.
She dedicated her life to education and was a beloved teacher. Dorothy had a Bachelor’s Degree and touched the lives of many students with her passion for learning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her life partner of fifty+ years, Elna Coleman, and Elna’s daughter, Kimberly Wittenmyer.
She is survived by family members Josh and Becky Wittenmyer, and their children Erica and Allie Wittenmyer.
Dorothy requested no public services or viewing. She will be laid to rest beside her parents at Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, Kentucky.
