Just after 9:30 a.m., a caller told 9-1-1 she saw someone crash onto her property on McDermott Rushtown Road. She said the vehicle was still there, but the driver had left the scene.
After checking out the vehicle, deputies attempted to make contact with the registered owner but didn’t have any luck.
They advised the property owner they could have the vehicle towed if they wanted. There was no damage to the property.
About an hour later, the driver called dispatch to report the wreck and asked an officer to meet them at the scene of the accident. The owner of the car and the owner of the property came to an agreement, and no police report was required.
