Two drivers fled the scene of early morning accidents.
A resident of St. Rt. 140 contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 5:15 am after she woke up to find a strange white truck in her yard with no driver in sight.
Officers responded to the scene and discovered the axle on the truck was broken. Deputies contacted a towing company to remove the vehicle from the woman’s yard.

At 5:38 am, a vehicle rang off the road on Swauger Valley Road and crashed into a car parked in a driveway.
The driver fled the scene on foot and was later spotted getting into a red truck.
