Drunk Driver Crashes With Kids In Car – Takes Out Power

Officers arrested a man on a list of charges after they say he crashed while driving drunk with children in his car.

Police say Marcus Riley crashed into a utility pole at 17th and Waller just before 9 pm. As a result of the crash, multiple electric lines were down.

Officers said there were children in the vehicle, and they managed to contact their mother. Police said Riley refused a breath test.

The road was blocked off to allow for electric repair, and officers arrested Riley, then transported him to the Scioto County Jail.

Riley has been charged with: Drunk Driving, Failure to Control, 3 counts of Felony Endangering Children, and Aggravated Vehicle Assault, also a Felony.

He is being held on a $16,150 bond.
