Just after 7:30 am, Portsmouth Fire Department Company’s Two and Three responded to a home on the 2800 block of Sunrise Ave.
“All family members got out safely”, according to the Fire Cheif.
AEP and Columbia Gas were requested on the scene to disconnect utilities for safety concerns.
The scene remains active and the Fire Department continues to work.
No other homes seemed to be damaged, at this time.
