Ellania Montgomery Niemiec, 103, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, in Sun City Center, FL. She was born April 19, 1917, in Clark County, KY, daughter of the late Andrew and Lillie Burrus Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband’s, J.C. Montgomery and Joe Niemiec; a son, Darryl Montgomery; daughter-in-law, Sandy Montgomery; brother, William Brown; sister-in-law, Phyllis Brown; sister, Hazel Bayes; brother-in-law, J.M. Bayes; great-grandson, Jarret Westlake, and her beloved cat Muffin.
She is survived by one son, James (Donna) Montgomery; one daughter, Thaonea (Fred) Wells; eight grandchildren, Lisa Weber, Terri Westlake, Darcie (Randy) Shane, Dara (Kent) Alexander, Jeff (Nikki) Montgomery, Paula Gregory, Michelle (Stan) Hotler, Christina Bray; 15 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with C.J. Murray and Junior Murray officiating.
