Scioto County Deputies responded to a healthcare provider’s request for a welfare check just after 5 pm. The medical professional said a patient sent him emojis of a gun and a head. She refused to talk about the matter, and he wanted to make sure she was okay.
The woman wasn’t home, but the man who lived with her was concerned as she has made those types of threats before. He said there was a gun in the house, but he would remove it before she returned home. The man thanked the deputies for looking into the situation.
When the woman arrived home, she agreed to allow an ambulance to transport her to the hospital for treatment.
Perry Road Cows Still On The Loose
The saga of runaway cows on Perry Road continues. If you’ll recall, deputies responded three times over the weekend to reports of runaway bovine. At the time officers cautioned the owner that he must keep the animals on his property.
Just after 10:30 am, the wandering cows were once again hanging out in a neighbor’s yard. Deputies noted that they had warned the owner several times.
By 1 pm, the cows were out and about again. Officers headed to the scene but were unable to make contact with the owner.
The cows returned for a third time around 8:30 pm but left shortly after.
Cows Run Wild in Otway
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of cows on the loose in Otway just after 9 am.
A Perry Road Caller reported there were cows in their yard. The caller said the owner of the cows did not live in the area. The caller complained that this was a reoccurring problem.
Officers managed to contact the wife of the owner, and once the cows were returned, the owners were able to figure out how the animals were escaping. Deputies advised the owner he faced a fine if it happened again.
It happened again the next day around 3:30 pm. The neighbor reported the cows had returned. And deputy also returned to the scene to take a report.
