Suspicious Activity on Ohio River Road

Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an alarm at the Ohio Rehabilitation Service on Ohio River Road just after midnight.

Officers saw no sign of forced entry, but they saw a couple of people staying in cars. A man on the scene said he thought someone might have called 9-1-1 because he was using a flashlight in the area. He also told them he thought he might have an open warrant.

Officers discovered he did have an open warrant with the Chillicothe Police, but they did not want him transported.

Police spoke to the two homeless people sleeping in cars. They said they would move their vehicles behind the building and out of the way.
