An upset landlord called 911 at 9:30 am to report that evicted former tenants had called to tell him they were out of the house. However, there were still animals inside the home.
Dispatch told the landlord to call the dog warden. The evicted tenant later called back to say she was on the way to get the animals. She removed some of her belongings, a dog, and some of her cats.
The landlord discovered a large amount of dog and cat feces in the upstairs bedrooms, which had previously been occupied by children, and asked officers to do a welfare check on the family.
Dispatch advised the landlord to take pictures and contact CPS. However, without the tenant’s new address, they could not perform a welfare check.
