Favorite Online Store Goes Bust – Will You Get Your Stuff?

A popular online retailer that was once all the rage with moms and kids is going out of business.

Zulily, which was founded back in 2010, said it “made the difficult but necessary decision to conduct an orderly wind-down of the business to maximize value for the companies’ creditors. This decision was not easy nor was it entered into lightly. However, given the challenging business environment in which Zulily operated, and the corresponding financial instability, Zulily decided to take immediate and swift action.”

The company said it planned to either fill or refund all outstanding orders within the next two weeks. People who don’t receive their order or refund by January 22, 2024, please contact Omni Agent Solutions at 888-202-5829.

The company was part of an online shopping revolution that took shoppers away from brick and mortar businesses and offered them big savings online. The company behind QVC bought in 2010 for $2.5 billion.

Zulily itself fell victim to the changing retail landscape. Dozens of companies that followed their strategy of offering inexpensive goods directly online popped up every year. Many of these companies, like Temu and Shein,  cut out the US retail component altogether and ship directly from China.
