New Boston Police had their hands full with an incident believed to be related to drug use. At 2:27 am, a caller said that someone under the influence of fentanyl was making threats to harm themselves.

The disturbed person was currently in the back of the residence, burning things in a fire. NBPD requested an ambulance and assistance from PPD.

The victim eventually ran back into the house, threatened to harm themselves, and locked themselves inside. The homeowner came to the scene with a key to allow first responders inside.
