Man Arrested After Grant Street Fight
Around 12:15 pm, officers responded to a report of a fight at Grant and Hutchins. Witnesses said one male victim headed into the park while two others went down the alley between Hutchins and Franklin carrying a bike.
Officers caught up with 26-year-old William Holman in the 1300 block of Franklin and took him into custody on open warrants for domestic violence and probation violation charges.
Police picked him up just a month ago for resisting arrest, assaulting a law enforcement officer, drug paraphernalia, and driving with an expired license.
He also has two previous arrests for theft. Officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Woman Busted After Bar Fight
Police responded to JJs Shenanigans after a report of a domestic incident inside the bar just after 2:30 pm.
When officers responded to the scene, they discovered a woman with an open warrant and took her into custody.
Police booked 32-year-old Monica Francis on charges of failure to appear, theft, probation violation, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested Francis back in January for driving under a suspension and probation violation and in June for Parole violation and falsification.
Police booked her into the Scioto County Jail on $4500 bond.
Woman Accosted at Wheelersburg Kroger
A woman reported a bizarre incident at the Kroger in Wheelersburg. She said a man lay across the hood of her vehicle and screamed at her to get out of her car before leaving the scene.
The man was gone by the time officers arrived, but officers escorted her back to her residence to make sure the man was not bothering her.
Drunk Man Starts Fight at Pizza Hut
Police responded to the Wheelersburg Pizza Hut after a report of a man starting a fight at the business. By the time officers arrived, he’d left the scene, so they went looking for him.
When a deputy caught up with the man, they determined he was quite intoxicated. Officers advised him to go back to his room and sleep it off after they trespassed him from the restaurant.
Drunken Brawl on Mohawk Drive
Officers found themselves in the middle of a volatile domestic situation on Mohawk Drive just before 9 pm. A woman reported that a drunken man had busted out her windshield and was making threats.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they put the man in the back of a cruiser and determined that both parties were intoxicated. The woman called a relative to stay with her, and the man left the scene.
