Fight Breaks Out at Rehab House
A Jackson Avenue caller contacted police at 1:30 pm to report a break-in at their home.
A few minutes later, police responded to a nearby rehab house for a report of a fight. It turns out the caller from the first incident was fighting with someone from the rehab facility about a theft earlier in the day.
Third Street Couple Threatened With Knife
A 3rd Street couple contacted PPD at 1 am to report their roommate was threatening them with a knife.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that some of the involved parties also had open warrants.
Police booked three people into the Scioto County Jail.
Franklin Avenue Brawl
Just before noon, Portsmouth Police Officers responded to a report of approximately 15 people fighting in the 1200 block of Franklin Avenue.
The caller claimed one of the combatants had a gun. Officers detained two people for questioning but determined the incident was mutual combat.
